Summer Jobs

The Provincial Government is helping Northwestern Ontario students find summer jobs.

Northern employers are eligible for their share of 3.36 million dollars in wage subsidies.

The Summer Jobs program provides businesses with a 2
dollar an hour wage subsidy per student position.

Minister of Northern Development Michael Gravelle says
they’re happy to help create summer employment for
students.

The Liberal Government also announced 6.6 million
dollars to support co-op placements and internships.
