Summer McIntosh wins second gold, third medal at Paris Olympics

Canada’s Summer McIntosh is golden again.

The 17-year-old swimmer won her second gold and third medal of the Paris Olympics, setting an Olympic record in the women’s 200 metre butterfly.

Canada now has eight medals, three gold, two silver and three bronze.

The country’s women’s 4-by-200-metre freestyle relay team is moving on to the final.

Kylie Masse is advancing to tomorrow’s final in the women’s 200 metre backstroke.

Josh Liendo finished ninth in the 50 metre freestyle and won’t move on to the final.

Halifax’s Ellie Black finished off the podium in individual, all-around gymnastics, as Simone Biles won another gold for the Americans.

Canada’s women’s fencing team finished just shy of Japan for a bronze medal.

Felix Auger-Aliassime won his quarterfinal in men’s tennis.

The women’s basketball team lost to Australia 70-65 to fall to 0-2.
