Summer Sitting Ends At Queen’s Park

MPP’s have completed their work at Queen’s Park.

The Ontario Legislature has adjourned with Premier Doug Ford pointing to the work which was done to deal with the coronavirus.

“During this historic sitting of the Legislature we worked together to protect the public from COVID-19 and support Ontario families, businesses and communities.”

Eighteen bills passed dealing with the pandemic.

Ford says it’s unheard of but all parties collaborated to get people the support they needed.

He adds the break will allow MPP’s to return to their home communities to meet with constituents and hear their concerns.

The Legislature will resume sitting on September 14.
