Dryden High School
Student Anecdotal Reports will be emailed home at the end of the day on October 7th. Meet The Teacher Day for parents is Wednesday, October 8th from 3:45 to 6:15. See the learning environment and talk about your student’s learning progress.
A reminder that student picture day at Dryden High is on Thursday, October 9th. Lifetouch will be there to capture the moments!
Friday, October 10th is ‘Turkey Trot’ day.
Two Dryden High School Eagle golfers are headed to the All Ontario Golf High School Championships October 15th and 16th. Good luck to the Eagles Sophie Koshel and Nate Bachynski! Sophie will compete in Mississauga while Nate heads to the links in Lindsay.
The second late start day of the school year is coming up on Wednesday,October 29th. Regular classes will not start at DHS until 10:10 in the morning on the 29th.
Sioux North High School
Picture Day is Monday, October 6th.
There will be a Parent Council Meeting on Wednesday, October 8th.
Court Sports home games for the Warriors are coming up on Thursday, October 9th. The Warriors will entertain the Dryden Eagles.
Looking forward to post secondary education? Lakehead University will be visiting Sioux North on Tuesday, October 14th. It will be a good opportunity for students to chat with and get information from L.U. recruiters!
IEPS will go home on Wednesday, October 15th

Red Lake High School
Coming up on Wednesday, October 8th there will be a junior awards ceremony in the Red Lake High School gym at 10:15. Parents are welcome to attend the awards ceremony. Subject Awards and Honour Roll Awards will be given for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Red Lake Rams Girls Hockey team will be holding a fundraiser to help offset operating costs. The girls will be selling jumbo pumpkins outside the Red Lake Legion on Saturday, October 18th from 1 until 4. Every pumpkin sold helps support the girls hockey team!
Pelican Falls First Nations High School
Court Sports action on Monday, October 6th has the Timberwolves entertaining White Fish Bay. On Tuesday, October 7th Pelican host the Red Lake Rams and on Thursday, October 22nd the Timberwolves welcome the Atikokan Voyageurs!
Coming up on Friday, October 24th there will be shortened classes in the morning.
A reminder that Parent-Teacher interviews will take place on Wednesday, October 29th.
Ignace School
In court sports action the Ignace Falcons entertain the Red Lake Rams on Tuesday, October 7th.
A reminder that Wednesday, October 8th is ‘Comfy Clothes Day’ at the school.
Get your smile on! The 2025 picture day for Ignace School students is Thursday, October 9th. Lifetouch will capture the moments.
Friday, October 10th is ‘Falcon Shirt Day’! Wear your best Falcon shirt as many Ignace Falcons will be travelling to Dryden for the Turkey Trot.
