The Rainy River District School Board is losing its superintendent of education.
Terry Ellwood is moving up in the education ranks and has accepted the position of Director of Education with the Superior-Greenstone District School Board in Marathon.
Ellwood has spent 15 years in administrative positions at the elementary and secondary levels in several areas of Northwestern Ontario.
With the Rainy River School Board, Ellwood has been involved in aboriginal student achievement, early literacy and early math initiatives and other student success programs.
