Superior Wireless Sold to Tbaytel

Tbaytel now has a major presence in Northwestern Ontario.
The company has purchased Superior Wireless for an undisclosed amount,
increasing its customer base by 11,000.
CEO Ken Esau says Superior was looking to keep its operation in
Northern hands so the transaction made perfect sense.
Esau says local Superior customers won’t see any reduction in service.
He notes cell phone users will see improved coverage from Kenora to
Sault Ste. Marie and from Rainy River to Red Lake.
Esau says Tbaytel is also working with the Federal Government on
filling in some gaps between Dryden and Shabacqua as well as the Rainy River
District.
