Cancer Care Ontario has appointed four workers to help Aboriginals who are living with cancer.
They will offer assistance to help residents in Northwestern Ontario overcome health care system barriers and coordinate access to cancer services.
Cancer Care Northwest Vice President Mark Henderson one position to fill will be that of Aboriginal Patient Navigator.
They will help those living with cancer access services through the cancer care system.
The second position of Aboriginal Lead will be part time and involve administration.
