The Dental Consultant for the Northwestern Health Unit says fluoridated drinking water is an ingredient for a healthy smile.
Cooney says tooth decay rates among local children have gone up
substantially since fluoride was removed from the water in 2001.
He adds the chemical is safe both for the user and for the
operator.
Cooney is also questioning Dr. Connett’s methods in the campaign against fluoride.
He says the Doctor’s website stats that fluoride is a Nazi plot to control people’s minds.
Cooney says the public will have to take a close look at the source of all information presented.
