Support Staff Deal

The Rainy-River District School Board and the Union representing Educational Support Staff have both ratified a new 2 year contract.
The deal provides a salary increase of 7% over the life of the contract, which expires in 2005.
In addition, Principals will now be responsible for calling in casual relief workers.
Educational, Communication and Library Assistants as well as Technicians at all Board Schools are included under the new agreement.
