Believe it or not, most of Northwestern Ontario experienced above
average temperatures last month.
CKDR Meteorologist Bill Laidlaw says with the exception of a few frigid
days, it was a fairly comfortable January.
The average temperature in Dryden and Sioux Lookout was around minus
15, the warmest since 2007.
Red Lake was around minus 16.8, the warmest January in 2-years.
Laidlaw notes the Region also saw below average precipitation.
