The OPP say one person has been arrested after about 50 grave markers were damaged at the Fort Frances Cemetery.
Trisha Boshey, 27, from Rainy River has been charged with Mischief over $5000.
Police say the gravestones were desecrated after being knocked over sometime between last Friday and this past Thursday.
They add the value of the damage hasn’t been determined yet, pointing out some of the tombstones are over 100 years old.
She is due to appear in Fort Frances Court on December 17 to answer the charge.
