Provincial Police in Dryden are investigating a suspicious death.
OPP responded to a report of an assault at a Whyte Avenue home Wednesday night around 10 o’clock.
Officers arrived to find a person dead at the scene.
The identity of the victim hasn’t been confirmed and a post-mortem exam is scheduled in Toronto.
Police say while this does not appear to be a random incident, they encourage everyone to be aware of their personal safety at all times.
Officers were seen at the scene for much of the day Thursday.
