Provincial Police are assisting Treaty 3 Police with a death investigation on Wabaseemoong First Nation.
Emergency personnel were called to a home early Saturday morning after receiving a report of an injured person.
First responders attended and the individual had no vital signs and following an examination the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 17 year old Trent Hunter of Whitedog First Nation.
The cause of death hasn’t been confirmed but police believe it is suspicious.
A post mortem is scheduled for Wednesday.
