Suspicious Package Ends Up Being Safe

A minor scare for a Marathon resident.
OPP were contacted Sunday about a suspicious package at a home.
Police say the resident found an unknown package inside a parcel that they had received.
The original sender was contacted and confirmed that the package wasn’t originally placed in the box.
The Explosives Disposal Unit was called in and the parcel was deemed safe.
