For the first time in year’s, a team has walked into the Fort William Gardens and walked away with four out of a four possible points.
Friday night, Ian Perrier made 26-saves as the Dryden Ice Dogs clipped the Thunder Bay North Stars 2-1.
Tom Kuhn and Ben McClellan found the back of the net for the Dogs.
Saturday, Ben McClellan was officially credited with four goals as the Ice Dogs held on to beat the North Stars 5-3.
Dwight Lee also picked up a goal.
Dryden scored three times with the man advantage and one time shorthanded.
Ian Perrier made 34-saves.
With the win, the Ice Dogs moved into first place in the SIJHL standings.
