The Red Lake Rams Mixed Curling team is celebrating NorWOSSA Gold.
The Rams recently won the local final.
The team consists of Jakob Tougas-Masse, Juliana Derkson and Aaron Koroscil.
They are coached by Anthony Stechisen.

The Dryden Eagles and Sioux North Warriors go for Gold on a couple of fronts today (Monday) as Fort Frances hosts the ‘AA’ NorWOSSA playoffs.
The Eagles have clinched a bye into the final in Junior Boys Basketball and Junior Girls Volleyball.
Dryden faces Sioux North in the Senior Girls Semi-Final.
The Warriors face Beaver Brae in the Senior Boys Semi.

Two silver medals for the Red Lake Rams at the NorWOSSA ‘A’ High School court championships held in Atikokan Thursday.
The Rams fell to the host Voyageurs in the Senior Boys Basketball Final, while St. Thomas Aquinas defeated Red Lake in the Junior Boys championship.
Atikokan won Gold in the Senior Girls Volleyball Final, while Rainy River defeated Pelican Falls in the Junior Girls event.


A split for the Sioux North Warriors High School Court teams against Beaver Brae on Thursday.
Both Girls Volleyball teams posted victories.
The Juniors won in straight sets (25-20, 25-17), while the Seniors needed three sets to dispose of the Broncos (21-25, 25-19, 25-23)
In Both Basketball, the Beaver Brae Seniors won a thriller against Sioux North 65-63 in overtime.
The Warriors fell to the Broncos 47-32 in Juniors action.
Two Dryden Eagles High School court teams will have byes when the NorWOSSA playoffs are held on February 24th.
The Junior Boys Basketball team clinched top spot with a 46-33 win over the visiting Fort Frances Muskies Thursday.
Fynn Livingston dropped in 14-points while Dom Morriseau added 11.
The Eagles were led by a stifling defence.
The Junior Girls Volleyball team also secured first in the standings with a three sets win over Fort Frances.
The Senior Girls lost in straight sets (25-19, 25-14) while the Junior Boys fell to the Muskies 87-41.

Red Lake High School cleaned up at the NWOSSA Nordic Ski Championship in Atikokan on Thursday.
The Rams claimed the top four spots in the Junior Boys Division, while Emma Toriseva won Gold in the Junior Girls race.
Quinn Brait and Kyle Gelderland finished one-two in the Senior Boys division.

The Eagles hosted the Beaver Brae Broncos in Girls Volleyball and Boys Basketball.
The Senior Girls won in straight sets (25-19, 25-15), while the Juniors went the distance with Kenora for the victory. (25-15, 22-25, 25-17)
In Basketball, the Dryden Juniors outlasted the Broncos 39-36 to move to 5-2 on the year.
Beaver Brae rebounded with a 51-26 win over the Eagles in Seniors play.

A Silver medal for the Dryden Eagles High School Junior Boys Basketball team at a weekend Tournament in Thunder Bay.
The Eagles dominated in the round-robin to book their ticket into the championship game.
However, Dryden fell to the host St. Ignatius Falcons 71-18 in the Gold medal match-up.
