Provincial Police are asking for witnesses in a fatal collision east of Thunder Bay.
The crash happened on Highway 11/17 on August 19th.
Two people in an SUV were pronounced dead in the three vehicle collision.
The driver of a transport was charged with careless driving.
However, OPP are looking for additional information as well as dash-cam footage as part of their investigation.
Provincial Police in Red Lake are reporting Drug Trafficking charges.
Police say on Tuesday they conducted an investigation along with the Red Lake OPP Community Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Kenora Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau.
Police then say as a result of investigations, 43-year-old John Meekis was arrested and charged with Trafficking Oxycodone, Possessing Oxycodone and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
He was released by way of a promise to appear in Red Lake court on September 19th to answer to the charges.
Regional Provincial Police are reporting a closure of Highway 17 west of Vermilion Bay.
Not many details are known at the moment, but Police say the closure is due to a collision and Emergency services are on the scene.
OPP say the road is now open to one lane and a full reopening time is not known.

Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 11/17, east of Thunder Bay.
Provincial Police say the collision occurred Monday night at around 6 o’clock in the Municipality of Shuniah.
OPP say an east bound SUV attempted to make a left turn into a rest stop, when it was struck from behind by a transport.
The vehicle then collided with a west bound pick-up truck.
Two people in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene, while four people in the truck were transported to hospital with injuries.
The driver and passenger of the SUV have been identified as 61-year old Joann Mendowegan of Thunder Bay, and 46-year old Christopher Towegishig of Greenstone.
Police add the transport driver, who wasn’t hurt, has been charged with careless driving.
His name has not been released.
A 23-year-old Pickle Lake woman faces charges following a traffic stop in Red Lake.
Provincial Police observed a vehicle travelling onto the highway with no headlights on around 11:30 Sunday night.
OPP say the driver failed a roadside screening device breath sample.
The accused was charged with two counts of impaired and three counts of failing to comply with a Recognizance order.
Provincial Police in Red Lake are reporting more impaired driving charges.
Police say on Wednesday between noon and 1:30pm they received multiple reports of possible impaired drivers who left the Balmertown Food Fair grocery store.
OPP eventually located two drivers separately and initiated traffic stops where they demanded breath samples.
Police then say both drivers failed the breath tests and were arrested.
Provincial Police say as a result of investigations, a 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman have been charged with operation while impaired.
Both of the drivers were released by way of a promise to appear in Red Lake court on September 19th.
A driver with a heavy foot will have to find alternate travel plans for the next few days.
Provincial Police in Ignace stopped a vehicle on Highway 17 travelling at a speed of 146-kilometres an hour.
OPP say the driver was stopped outside of Ignace in a 90 zone.
As a result, the car has been impounded for seven days and the driver has had his licence suspended for seven days.
No injuries are reported in a single vehicle crash north of Vermilion Bay.
Provincial Police were notified of the collision around 7:30 Tuesday night.
OPP say a car crashed on McIntosh Road.
As a result of an investigation, a 22-year-old Vermilion Bay man has been charged with two counts of impaired driving.
Provincial Police in Dryden are reporting multiple drug charges after a search warrant in Dryden.
Police say on Wednesday at 7:26pm officers from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, Community Street Crime Unit and the Dryden Police Service executed the search warrant at a residence in Dryden.
Police then say they seized a quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine and Oxycodone worth an estimated $600.
Provincial Police go on to say 35-year-old Shawn Polny and 21-year-old Ashlee Shine of Dryden have been charged with:

OPP say all of the three accused have been released on a Promise to Appear in court in August and September.
