Take Action Summit Huge Success

The first ‘Take Action Youth Summit’ is being deemed a major success.
17 youth from Northwestern Ontario recently joined 300-Ontario students
in Toronto to raise awareness of smoke free initiatives.
Dryden Youth Action Alliance Leader Nikki Hackman says they delivered
their message loud and clear.
Hackman says their main goal was to help smokers butt-out and to
convey the dangers of smoking to the younger crowd.
Minister of Health Promotions Jim Watson attended the conference and
committed to fund a second ‘Take Action Youth Summit’ next year.
