This Monday, take the time and remember all of the Canadians who have served in battle.
The message from the President of the Dryden Royal Canadian Legion.
Gerry Gosselin says we all know what remembrance is for, and it’s important that we don’t forget what was done for peace in our country.
The Remembrance Day Service in Dryden will start at 10:30 at the Legion.
Gosselin recommends showing up early, as it can get pretty packed.
After the service, there will be a march to the Cenotaph for the laying of the wreath and then the parade will march back to the Legion for a light lunch.
There is a supper at 6:00pm, and tickets are available at the Legion.
