A 24-year-old Winnipeg man faces careless driving charges following a
3-vehicle crash just west of Kenora.
OPP were called to the collision around 4 o’clock Friday when a
vehicle tried to make a left-hand turn onto Inglis Road.
Police say the driver of a pick-up truck, failed to slow down for the
turning vehicle, because he was talking on a cellphone.
The truck hit the back of the car and sent it into the path of an
on-coming transport.
The driver of the semi tried to avoid the car, but ended up hitting
the passenger side.
OPP say the unindentified female driver was airlifted to hospital
with non-life thereatening injuries.
