Progress is being made in addressing the needs of first nations communities in the Northwest according to negotiator Bob Rae
Rae says even though talks have been kept out of the public eye things are moving ahead.
He stresses the two parties are setting a new standard in negotiations.
Rae notes that talks have been mainly kept out of the public out of respect for all groups involved.
