There appears to be some movement in the dispute involving the Volunteer Firefighters Association and the City of Dryden.
Deputy Mayor Nick Beyak confirms a face-to-face meeting has been scheduled between the two sides for Tuesday.
Beyak says the City has been in constant contact with the Association, noting he’s been communicating with the executive as recently as February 21st, the day before they decided to withhold services.
The City says adequate fire protection is in place, with Fire Hall 2 officials stressing they are ready to respond in the event of a fire.
