Negotiations have resumed to try and reach a contract agreement for full time teachers at Ontario’s 24 community colleges, including Confederation.
The talks, scheduled to last 2-days, are the first since negotiations between OP-SEU and the colleges broke down on November 12th.
The 9,000 teachers could hold a strike vote on January 13th if an agreement isn’t reached by then.
Teachers want a 7.5% wage increase over 3-years while the colleges have offered 8% over 4-years.
