Taxes Not Going Up in Ignace

It appears taxes won’t be going up in Ignace.
Council has decided to not go with a 2% increase and is
working on no increase for 2008-2009.
Mayor Lionel Cloutier says Council will be meeting next week to discuss ways of increasing revenue and Cloutier notes one option is stronger enforcement on certain bylaws.
The budget is expected to be passed on May 14th.
