TBRHSC Angioplasty #2

The McGuinty Government has awarded 9.4 million dollars

to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

The money will go towards offering Angioplasty services

to the residents of Northwestern Ontario.

NW LHIN C.E.O. Gwen Dubois Wing says Thunder Bay will be

performing 250 angioplasty procedures by the end of March

2008.

Once the service is fully operational the hospital will

be able to treat 550 patients per year.
