Public elementary school teachers have begun a work-to-rule
campaign.
The Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario says members from 30 school boards across the province including the Keewatin-Patricia and Rainy River boards, have withdrawn
from all voluntary duties, which have no effect on student
programs.
Emily Noble is president of the teachers union and says the job action is intended to put pressure on the school boards to settle the contract dispute.
