A great start for Sioux Lookout’s Ryan Parent and the Team Canada Under 18 Hockey club at the World Cup in Slovakia.
Canada opened the round-robin with a 7-1 win over Switzerland today.
Andrew Cogliano of the St. Michaels Junior ‘A’ Buzzards had 2 goals and was named player of the game.
Canada outshot the Swiss 50-20.
Canada plays Sweden tomorrow.
