Team Northern Ontario is winless in two tries at the Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship in Edmonton, Alberta.
The local team fell to Nova Scotia 8-1 in Draw #2 today. (Tuesday)
The team is skipped by Kenora’s Wayne Ficek and consists of Dryden’s Mark Wherrett, Chester Draper and Cindy Hoffstrom.
The rink is coached by Tom Wherrett of Dryden.
Northern Ontario is back on the ice tonight at 7:00 central against 0-2 Saskatchewan.
