Team Rubicon Canada is now helping out in Wabaseemoong First Nation.
The group of veterans arrived this past weekend and are helping to distribute food, water and other essentials to community members impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Team Rubicon uses their experience to help out in trouble spots.
Meantime, the first shipment of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in the Kenora area First Nation.
Initially, front line workers are being vaccinated, so they can carry out essential services.
The community is being treated as a top priority to reduce the spread of the virus.
