Teen Faces Two Charges Following Disturbance

A Sioux Lookout man has been charged with assault following an incident in the community Saturday evening.
Provincial Police received several complaints about an intoxicated man who was randomly knocking on the doors of several homes in the Queen Street area.
Police say one resident opened the door, at which time the accused assaulted the individual.
The man was located a short time later and was arrested.
Police learned that 19-year-old Courteney Mekanak was breaching previous conditions and he remains in custody.
