An 18 year old man is dead after an incident along the CN Rail tracks in Alberton Township.
Provincial Police were contacted around 2:39 Saturday morning after locomotive engineers reported the noticed something suspicious on the tracks.
Officers walked the rail line and found a dead man laying on the tracks about 1 kilometre east of the Kehl Road crossing.
Train traffic stopped for about seven hours as police investigated.
The probe continues with help from CN Police and the Office of the Chief Coroner.
The man has been identified as Darryl Joseph Sakchekapo of Naicatchewenin First Nation.
