Temporary Home in Sioux Lookout

Residents of the aging Hostel in Sioux Lookout are now being housed at
the Sunset Inn.
The Hostel was closed last week because of health concerns and First
Nation officials continue to lobby the Government for funding to construct
a new $9-million facility.
They claim the Feds are planning to break a commitment made in
1997 to build a 100-bed Hostel.
A Government Spokesperson says they plan to work with the community to
look at alternate funding avenues until specific cash is freed up.
