Tentative Contract Reached For Dryden Domtar Workers

It appears there is labour peace at the Domtar Mill in Dryden.

Unifor has confirmed a tentative contract for three Local groups (105-1, 105-3, 324) in the Mill and Woodlands Operations.

The deal impacts some 500-unionized employees.

Details of the agreement won’t be released until ratification from both sides, however, Local National Representative Stephen Boon says it’s a solid contract that achieves Unifor’s Eastern Canada Pulp and Paper pattern.

A series of meetings are being held in the next ten days to release details to workers.

The last collective agreements all expired at the end of August.

Information Meeting details:

300 Woodlands members:

Wednesday, November 14th: Dryden. 2:00pm and 6:00pm

Sunday, November 18th: Ear Falls. 3:00pm

Local 105-1 and 105-3:
