It took me quite a while to make up this sign. Just ask my family who have said to me that I’ve done nothing else for the last week and a half…..or did they say 3 weeks?
Anyway I finally got the sign posted on my fence yesterday. As I was attaching it – it was nice to hear lots of honks and see a few waves of appreciation. That made it all worthwhile!
At the same time it got me thinking….where were those people going? Were they going home after a quick outing for essentials or were they just out and about because that’s what we would normally be doing? Do you remember normal?
It’s tough right. We’re being told every day what we should be doing and what we can’t do.
We’re told the more we stay home and do physical distancing the sooner we can resume our ‘normal’ routines. It’s going to be tough for some to do that as the weather warms up.
Please. Do your part. Do what you can. Help others when you can.
I miss normal.
I miss you.
I won’t miss seeing this sign disappear from my fence. Let’s make sure I can take it down sooner rather than later.
