The Fort Frances OPP has determined that there was not in fact a robbery at the Royal Canadian Legion.
However, a 28-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody charged with possession of stolen property, counselling to commit mischief and counselling to commit theft.
It was reported at approximately 2:30 a.m. Monday, a male with his identity concealed with a hat and a scarf entered the legion holding a knife.
The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released as it becomes available.
