In loving memory of Thelma Nadeau, aged 62 years, who passed away peacefully in the Dryden Regional Health Center on Thursday, September 28th.
Born June 6, 1949 in Bridgeville, Quebec, the daughter of Irvin and Simone Chicoine Thelma is survived by her husband Laurent, her 2 sons Sylvain and Rene, daughters-in-law Stephanie Nadeau and Julie Lamouche, by 3 granddaughters: Reyna Nadeau, Danica Nadeau and Amelie Nadeau and numerous family members and friends.
Thelma moved to Ignace in September of 1981 and enjoyed living there and raising her beautiful family. In September of 2008 she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she fought until it spread into her bones. A beautiful woman, she will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We love you Mom XOXO
A Memorial Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Thelma Nadeau will be held Saturday, October 15th at 12:00 noon in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Ignace with Rev. Alan Campeau officiating.
Interment of ashes will take place in Gaspe’, Quebec at a later date.
