Thermometer Confirms February Unusually Cold

If you think the month of February was bitterly cold, you are right!
CKDR Meterologist Bill Laidlaw says a pool of arctic air covered the entire region.
Laidlaw says the average temperature was -20.3 degrees.
That’s seven degrees below normal.
The last time February was this cold was back in 1967 at -20.9.
The overall temperature for this winter is three-and-a-half degrees below average.
