Third Youth Arrested In Red Lake School Threat Case

Provincial Police have charged a third youth in connection to threats made to a Red Lake school last Tuesday.

Thursday, OPP arrested a 14-year-old and charged the individual with uttering threats to cause death.

The youth is being held in custody.

A 13-year-old and a 14-year-old have already been charged in the case.

Police learned during their investigation that threats were made to two schools and officers worked with staff to identify the suspects.

The OPP say they will continue to work closely with both schools and their boards to ensure the safety of staff and students.
