Thistles Forced to Play Quarter-Final Game

The Kenora Thistles will have to play a Quarter-Final game at the Allan Cup Senior Men’s Championship in Kenora.
The Thistles failed to secure a bye to the Semi-Final, losing 3-2 to Bentley Wednesday evening.
Hudson’s Tyler Gordon stopped 39-shots in a losing cause, while Sioux Lookout’s Kevin Chabbert scored for Kenora.
That set’s up the battle of Northwestern Ontario in the Quarter-Final.
The Thistles will battle Fort Frances Thursday night at 8:00.
In the other round-robin game, Clarenville upset South East Prairie Thunder 3-2.
