Meta users worldwide are reporting widespread outages impacting various services including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.
Reports first began coming in shortly after noon (EST) with users claiming they couldn’t log in or access certain features on their accounts.
We’re aware that a technical issue is impacting some users’ ability to access our apps. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.

Meta confirmed the outage shortly after the initial reports and say they are actively working to resolve the issue.
