Three Forest Fires Declared Out

A large fire burning outside Pikangikum First Nation is officially out.
The blaze sparked about 2-months ago and topped 4,400 hectares in size.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has also declared 2-fires in Quetico Park as out.
The slow activity in Northwestern Ontario has allowed the MNR to send 129-fire personnel to Quebec.
3-aircraft are also being dispatched.
The fire hazard is low to moderate across much of the Region.
