Three local men have been fined $3,500 for an October 2010 hunting offence.
Rodney Szyszka of Igance has been fined $3,000 for trespassing to hunt white-tailed deer and not taking responsible care to ensure that the hunter apprentice under his supervision complied with the laws.
He has been banned from hunting in Ontario for 2-years.
Two other men from Dryden and Ignace received $250 fines for trespassing to hunt.
The men were caught after a deer was shot on private property just northwest of Dryden.
