Two area men have been fined a total of $10,000 for moose hunting offences.
Geoffrey Taylor of Balmertown and Wayne Lecot of Vermilion Bay both pleaded guilty to shooting from a roadway and possessing illegally killed wildlife.
Court heard that in December, 2015, Lecot and Taylor shot down a roadway and over a bridge during a hunting trip on Joyce Lake Road, about 100-kilometres northeast of Ear Falls.
Two cow moose were illegally killed in the incident.
