There were three new forest fires confirmed Wednesday, all of them sparking in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park in the Red Lake district.
There are currently 17 active fires in the region.
Most of the fires are being monitored and pose no threat.
Large fires in the western provinces and the territories may cause smoke to drift into our area.
