A good weekend for the Kenora Under-18 Thistles Hockey team.
The Thistles recorded a pair of wins against visiting Parkland Saturday and Sunday.
Kenora won the opener 5-4 in overtime and followed with a 6-3 victory.
Dryden’s Reidar Paquette had a goal and two assists in the second game.
Balmertown’s Patrick Forsythe made 31 saves for the win.
Kenora improves to 6-12-0-1 on the season and they currently sit 10th in the league with 13 points.
