The Red Lake Miners needed some extra time on the weekend in their two game series with Thief River Falls.
On Saturday, Blake Nelson scored at 3:07 of overtime to lead the Norskies to a come from behind 6-5 win over the host Miners.
Thief River was down 5-2 with under four minutes to play before launching a furious come back.
Michael Di Lullo returned to the lineup to score a pair for Red Lake, while Bryce Young, Shay Summerfeld and Stratton Pickett added singles.
It was a different outcome on Friday as Ethan Stuckless scored his second of the game at 3:05 of overtime to give the Miners a 5-4 victory.
Bryce Young also scored a pair, while Ryan Patterson added a single.
Vince Benedetto was in net for both games.
