Three Provincial Leaders Won’t Meet

An offer to sit down and discuss the Province’s stance on the softwood
lumber agreement has received a cool reception.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton asked to meet with Premier
McGuinty and Conservative Leader John Tory to form a united front against
the deal.
Hampton says they won’t be getting together anytime soon.

The NDP Leader says the agreement coupled with soaring energy rates
will result in the closure of at least 4-more mills in Northern Ontario.
