The death of a 49-year-old man in Thunder Bay last week has the Northwestern Ontario city well on the way to earning the label of
the murder capital of Canada.
Robert Good died of a knife wound last Tuesday.
Thunder Bay Police spokesman Chris Adams says Good’s was the sixth homicide in 2009 and there are still five months left in
the year.
Since statistics are compiled on a per capita basis, Thunder Bay could be a shoo-in for the disgraceful designation of murder capital of Canada.
