Thunder Bay’s May28th flood is on the top 10 weather events of the year as compiled by Environment Canada. Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says it was a storm like no other the city had seen for quite some time.
He adds the huge amount of rain fell in a two hour time span, and it shattered previous records in the Thunder Bay area.
Coulson says the storm was also responsible for an incredible amount of damage including extensive basement flooding.
