The victim of a fatal two vehicle collision on Highway 11/17 near Shabaqua has been identified.
Provincial Police say 48-year-old Jason Calder of Thunder Bay was driving an eastbound pick-up truck when it collided with a westbound transport Monday afternoon.
The driver and a passenger in the tractor-trailer unit were taken to hospital in Thunder Bay for treatment.
The crash closed the highway for nearly five hours.
The cause is still under investigation.
